Do not assume a small crossbody bag meets a stadium's clear-bag policy. Venues can regulate material, color, size, number of bags and event-specific exceptions. A non-clear bag can be much smaller than a clear tote and still be refused.
Concert and festival rules: more than a size limit
| Venue or event | Size and bag count | Clear material and pockets | Storage and exceptions | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The O2 arena, general event policy | A4 or smaller; one bag per person. Backpacks and specified bag types are excluded. | No general transparency or pocket-count rule stated on the checked bag-policy page. | Paid storage listed; collection deadlines conflict across official pages, so confirm for your event. | The O2 bag policy |
| Wembley Stadium, general policy | 297 × 210 × 210 mm actual bag dimensions; folding a larger bag is not accepted. | No general transparency or pocket-count requirement stated on the checked policy page. | Different event owners may set different rules; no storage service established by this page. | Wembley bag policy |
| Lollapalooza, Chicago; current page includes 2026 event information | Small clutch purses or fanny packs 6 × 9 in or smaller; larger bags must be smaller than 12 × 6 × 12 in. | The small non-clear exception permits no more than one pocket. Larger bags must be clear. Hydration packs have separate conditions. | All bags searched. Prohibited items are not held for collection. Check the next edition before attending. | Lollapalooza safety and bag policy |
Dimensions alone do not make Norevix a confirmed Lollapalooza bag. Both published front sizes are below 6 × 9 in, but the main storage area and hidden rear pocket must also be assessed against the one-pocket condition. We have no confirmation that this multi-compartment design meets that exception; do not plan on admission. Its opaque nylon does not satisfy the larger clear-bag rule.
For the two London venues, read the separate The O2 and Wembley concert bag guide. “Not stated” is not an exemption. Consult your ticket and organiser's event information before relying on a general venue page.
Keep the rule comparison current
For each event, record the venue, event date, policy scope, dimensions, required material, bag count, pocket limit, excluded bag types, storage arrangements, official source and check date. Leave unstated conditions unknown. If two official pages conflict, ask the venue and retain that unresolved condition rather than silently choosing one.
The three examples below retain their September 28 source dates. The added concert and festival rows were checked October 8; they do not refresh the older rows. Before travelling, recheck the exact event page and pre-event email rather than treating any dated comparison as a permanent rule.
Three official examples show why the event matters
| Example checked 2026-09-28 | Published rule | What it means for an opaque crossbody |
|---|---|---|
| NFL stadium game-day policy | Clear bags up to 12 × 6 × 12 in, or a small non-clear bag up to 4.5 × 6.5 in; NFL asks fans to check team and stadium guidance. | Being under the clear-tote size does not make an opaque bag compliant. Its own small-bag dimensions must also pass. |
| Chase Field policy | Clear bag up to 12 × 6 × 12 in or a one-gallon clear freezer bag; small clutch or wallet up to 6.5 × 4.5 in. | A larger opaque sling is not an approved clear bag or small clutch. |
| New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden | Bags need not be clear but must fit under the seat; bags over 22 × 14 × 9 in are prohibited. | This is a different rule. Check the exact event page: MSG says event requirements can change. |
Check your own bag without guessing
- Open the official page for the specific event, not a search snippet or another venue's rule.
- Read both the material rule and the maximum dimensions. “Clear” may require transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC and prohibit opaque pockets or decoration.
- Measure the bag as you will bring it, including any required straps or attachments. Check whether a small opaque clutch is allowed separately or in addition to a clear bag.
- If the policy is ambiguous, ask venue guest services before traveling. Do not assume bag storage will be available.
Would the Norevix bag pass?
Norevix Crossbody Bag 2.0 is an opaque nylon bag, not a clear venue bag. Its published external front dimensions are 7.5 × 5.3 in (Regular) and 8.7 × 5.9 in (Large). Both have a side longer than the NFL's 6.5 in small non-clear-bag maximum, and neither is transparent. Do not plan to take either size through a standard NFL clear-bag check or Chase Field's listed small-clutch exception. Other events may use different rules; size alone never guarantees entry.
For airline restrictions, use the separate personal-item guide. An airline size limit and a stadium clear-bag policy are different tests.

Check parks and museums separately
A stadium clear-bag exception is not a theme-park admission rule or a ride-storage rule. Use the official policy for each stop:
- Walt Disney World: park-entry and day-bag planning.
- Universal Orlando: bags, ride rules and lockers.
- Smithsonian DC: screening, storage and museum stops.
Quick questions
Can I put a prohibited opaque bag inside a clear tote? Do not assume that creates an exception. Check whether the event permits opaque contents or a separate small bag, and ask guest services if the published rule does not resolve it.
Does being below the size limit guarantee entry? No. Bag type, material, pocket count, contents and the event-specific rule can still make a bag unsuitable.
